Empty building, busy business
During peak season a hire warehouse may be running at full stretch with half its floor visible for the first time all year. That is the moment to clean it properly, and it is also the moment when nobody has time to think about arranging it. Booking the attendance against the season rather than waiting to be asked is what turns the opportunity into a result.
The building is also at its dirtiest then, because equipment is going out and coming back constantly. Mud, grass, tape residue and packaging arrive with every return. So the emptiest period is simultaneously the messiest one, which is an unusual combination and it makes a well-timed attendance unusually valuable. A fortnight of that leaves marks a routine attendance will not lift. Timing matters more here than method.
