Two conditions, one scope
The full condition is a walkway clean: the accessible route, the door approach, the trolley parking positions and whatever perimeter can be reached. The empty condition is a full floor clean with attention to the corners, the wall lines and the areas that are normally covered. Both are defined and priced, and the crew applies whichever the room is in on the night. That removes the recurring problem of a specification that assumes one state and is delivered into the other, which is the usual source of complaint in these rooms.
It also gives the hotel a way to plan. If the empty condition is worth having, the room can be scheduled for cleaning in the gap after a large function has been packed down and before the next set-up begins. A banquet team knows those gaps well ahead and can nominate them if somebody asks. Asking for those dates is usually the only step anybody has missed.
