Following the wave rather than the clock
Most institutional receipt areas have a rhythm that the people working there could describe in a sentence, and that nobody has ever written down. Deliveries concentrate in the morning, checking runs through the middle of the day, and collection tails off in the afternoon. The useful cleaning window sits just after the last collection, when the floor is genuinely clear and before the next day's arrivals begin. That window is often narrow but it is reliable, which is what a schedule needs.
Writing it into the scope means asking the logistics supervisor rather than assuming. The answer usually comes with useful detail attached: which day is heaviest, which supplier arrives outside the pattern, when the area is used for something else entirely. All of that shapes a realistic attendance far better than a start time chosen for roster convenience, and it costs one conversation at the walkthrough to establish.
